Since then you have raised £585 for the school just by doing your shopping as usual.

The staff and the PTA of The Winston Churchill School would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who has used easyfundraising and raised this impress figure.

If it is, just click through to the online store and shop as usual. It doesn’t cost you anything but the PTA get a small donation directly to their account.

Downton Abbey Comes to Winston Churchill!

Simon Donaldson, Head of Performing Arts, said,  

“ We are delighted to announce that our Guest of Honour at this year’s Annual Arts Awards Evening is the actress Laura Carmichael, currently playing Lady Edith in the hugely successful ITV drama ‘Downton Abbey’.

Laura will be presenting Art, Music and Drama Awards to the students on the evening of Thursday, December 4^th in an event that recognises and celebrates the wonderful, exhilarating and hugely inspiring work that the students from the Arts Faculty at Winston Churchill School have created over the last twelve months.

Laura has appeared in all five series of ‘Downton Abbey’ and begins work on filming series six in February 2015. She appeared in ‘Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’ and is soon to be seen in a film adaptation about the life of Madam Bovary."

 

 

 

Exam certificates for July 2014 leavers are now available

Exam certificates for July 2014 leavers are available for collection from the school office.  The office is open from 8am and 4pm during term time.
