BBC News is reporting that it is
anticipated that the strike by French ferry workers is for today only and as such does not currently
affect any of our school residential visits due to travel via Calais on Monday
6th or Friday 10th July. We will be monitoring the
situation closely in the coming days and in the event of the strike continuing
or reoccurring the school will continue to liaise with our travel companies to
ensure the safety of our students. Parents will be made aware of any
precautions/changes to visits via the School website if these become necessary.
