There have been a number of concerns expressed by pedestrians  who have been unable to fully access the pavements with buggies and prams as they are entitled to do so.

Arts Award Evening Programme November 2016

On Wednesday 30th November the Performing Arts Faculty will be hosting the 

Arts Award Evening

"The Arts are about life in all its diversity. They can help our students to see a whole array of problems in a proper perspective. They strengthen human relationships and can make them tolerant and understanding of the attitudes and opinions encountered amongst a variety of people. The Arts encourage the very best in shared experiences of many kinds.

Annual Awards Evening - Thursday 17th November

Partnered with Team Superschools, Kristian will be giving students an insight into the life of a professional athlete, the high’s and low’s, the dedication, discipline and resilience required to push themselves in order to reach their full potential.

The cash machines at school do not currently accept the new £5 notes. New machines have been ordered and should be with us soon.  So, for the time being, please use other notes or coins.

Hot Thursday

Thursday 15th September

Today students have been able to remove their blazers and ties to help them manage the temperatures suddenly being experienced. 

Temperatures are expected to rise to at least 27 degrees on Thursday 15th September.  To ensure that students are more comfortable to study and to move around the site, they may wear their PE kit for one day only.

Should there be any further changes to uniform this blog will be up-dated.  Currently I am expecting students to wear their standard school uniform on Friday 16th September.

For staff , students and parents wishing to log in to FrogLearn please note that the URL for logging in has now changed to frog.wcsc.org.uk .

(The old URL student.wcsc.org.uk/frogos. will not longer work)



There is no change for parents logging in from the home page, but if you where using the student.wcsc.org.uk/frogos URL to log in you now need to use the new one - frog.wcsc.org.uk


All user can also log in via the school website www.wcsc.org.uk

Hot Wednesday

Wednesday 20th July

As we face another very hot day students have been told that they can wear their PE kit again.  Students were far more comfortable today and were very sensible in managing the high temperatures experienced.

Thursday 21st July

Year 7 and 8 must wear their PE kit as everyone is expected to participate in the Mini Olympics.

Year 9 and 10 must be dressed in the normal school uniform.

I will up-date the Head's Blog with further pictures and information of recent events.
